Experience Uninterrupted Care with Houghton Care's Night and Day Services

Quality care is essential at all times, day or night—that’s what we believe at Houghton Care. We have designed both our night and day care services to provide seamless, person-centred support so that you or your loved one gets the most thoughtful assistance at all times.

Understanding Night and Day Care

Night and Day Care, often referred to as 24-hour home care, is when professional carers are available day and night. This would most likely be applied in cases where the individual needs constant supervision, help with daily activities, or has specific medical conditions requiring continuous care.

Types of Overnight Care:

We have two different types of overnight care designed to meet various needs:

This type of arrangement involves a carer sleeping in your home overnight and being available throughout the night in case there is a need. This will be more suitable for a person who has good sleeping patterns but sometimes needs some help during the night.

Here, the carer will remain awake and alert throughout the night and be available to provide support as needed. This is most suited for service users with complex health care needs or conditions such as dementia requiring interventions at night.
